If you couldn’t travel via walking, what mode of transportation would you use? And why?
A week ago today, a doctor worked for 3.5 hours on my bent and wavy toes, some that folded under each other, to make them straight again. So far, other than impressive crisscrossed stitches, they look worlds better than before but haven’t yet passed much walking test.
A few times in life I’ve dreamed I was flying. (Hasn’t everyone?) This would be a perfect time in life to develop that skill. I’d even accept a zipline ride or repeat hot air balloon trip like my older son and I enjoyed three years ago.
And then I read of someone like smiling Australian Christian evangelist and motivational speaker, Nick Vujicic, born with a rare disorder meaning he never developed arms or legs. and realize that most of us have extremely little to complain about and a heart and world full of things to be thankful for. (If you’re not familiar with Nick, he is very worth looking up.)
If you could not walk, what alternate mode of transportation would you work to develop? Please share what you would do to keep your spirits up and your attitude sweet. God bless your week!
