Welcome to the inaugural Back to School Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt. We hope that throughout this hunt, you discover some new books and get to know a little more about us.
A few things before you begin:
This hunt is a blog hop. Collect the “clues” (pieces to the longer phrase) at each stop. Enter the individual giveaways along the way, then click on the link to the next stop and repeat until you reach #28, where you will input the full phrase as your entry to the grand prize drawing.
The hunt begins August 30, 2023, at noon EST and ends September 4, 2023, so you have plenty of time to visit each stop. If you need to step away and come back later, make a note of the last stop you visited, and go to this post with the list of all stops on the hunt.

My Back-to-School story is that I’m the one in school—teaching 66 students two online classes that started yesterday in a good Midwestern Christian university. I’ve been teaching more years than I want to count but love the interaction and ministry. My challenge is to also find quality writing time. Especially as new students have questions and need explanations and reassurance—like yesterday.
My Christmas Tree Wars plot was a divine download that came while I drove a country road new to me and saw a Christmas tree farm on one side of the road and a lone tall perfect spruce in a hayfield on the other. I instantly knew that a national contest involved one tree entry getting switched to win—or to save a romance.
About Christmas Tree Wars
Christmas is meant to be a time of goodwill, but there’s no peace between two neighboring Christmas tree farmers involved in a longstanding feud. Can this year be different with a bit of holiday romance tossed into the season?
When the financial planner son and forestry major niece of feuding Christmas tree farmers come home to help their families in crisis, it takes Christmas tree wars to a whole new level. As the young people seek success by competing to provide a national Christmas tree, romance fills the air and connects them like mistle to toe.
